How to install the IchthuX packages
If you are running a Debian GNU/Linux (or Ubuntu) operating system, you can install IchthuX MetaPackages? into your system. To do this, you need to add the url of the IchthuX repository to your sources.list file. If you are using KPackage or Synaptic to install packages, there are easy ways of adding the repository by using the menus of these programs. If you are not using these programs, you can do it this way : - edit your sources.list file, by typing (as a root, or using sudo) : nano /etc/apt/sources.list (or replacing 'nano' with your favourite editor) - add the following lines to the file : - update your sources by typing : apt-get update You can then install the IchthuX packages. How do I use the Live CD ? You first need to get the iso image. You can get it on the DownloadPage. Once you have the iso file, burn it using your usual CD burner app (Nero, Toast, EasyCDCreator?, K3B, ...). Then put the CD in your computer and reboot. The computer should then boot on the Ichthux CD. If it doesn't boot on the CD, check your BIOS configuration by pression either F8 or F12 at the very beginning of the boot.
