XChat configuration
XChat is already installed on knoppix. All there is to do is add a configuration file for the list of servers, adding Christian servers that are not in the list (including the CF chat). This file is put in /etc/skel/.xchat2/servlist_.conf and the entry .xchat* must be added to /etc/X11/Xsession.d/45xsession => done (v0.3) List of Christian IRC Networks Saved by Grace IRC : irc.savedbygrace-irc.com/6667 ChristianForums : irc.christianforums.com/6667 DALNet -> to be tested Ablazenet -> irc.ablazenet.com/6667 Christian-IRC.net -> irc.christian-irc.net/6667 See also : http://psalm121.ca/commun.html >> Back to the list of configured programs <<

How about FreeNode?: irc.freenode.net which has #sword so people can get support for BibleTime and sword?

Freenode is already added to the list of default servers for XChat, because it gathers most GNU projects. Furthermore I think there is an help for BibleTime.
Anyway, I'll add it so as to organize again the list of the servers, and put the interesting ones on the top of the list(CF, Christian-IRC and Ablazenet) being the first ones.
