Ichthux KDE Splash Screen

The splash screen is made of 4 png files and a Theme.rc file.

png files

- splash_top.png : the main part of the splash screen, most of the time 400x248 px
- splash_active_bar.png : active icons, 400x60
- splash_inactive_bar.png : inctive icons, 400x60 (necessarily the same height as splash_active_bar.png)
- splash_bottom.png : the bottom of the bar, 400x16

Theme.rc file

Contains the description for the splash screen.

Live CD settings

In Knoppix, the default KDE Splash screen is located in /usr/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/Default

Raphink's attempt to a KDE bootsplash for Ichthux

You can get the archive here : ichthux_bootsplash.tar.gz.
To use this bootsplash, uncrompress the file in ~/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/.
You can then choose the bootsplash using the KDE Control Center.
